When we go to sleep at night in our own homes, we believe our work should help ensure others can do the same.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Louisiana focused on developing scalable housing and community ecosystems across the United States that support veterans, working families, and underserved communities.
Our work combines housing development, workforce training, agricultural sustainability, and disaster readiness to build stronger, more resilient communities.

Our Mission
STARS was founded on the belief that communities thrive when people are given the opportunity to rebuild stability, purpose, and hope.
Our mission is to develop integrated solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges facing America today, including:
• Veteran housing insecurity
• Workforce housing shortages
• Food desert communities
• Loss of family farms and ranches
• Disaster recovery and community resilience
Rather than addressing these issues separately, STARS integrates them into a unified development model that creates long-term community stability.
What We Do
STARS develops scalable community ecosystems centered around four key pillars.
Housing Development
We develop projects focused on:
• Veteran housing
• Workforce housing
• Affordable housing
Our goal is to ensure that individuals and families have access to safe, stable housing in communities where opportunity can grow.
Workforce Development
STARS provides career pathways through trade training and on-the-job development opportunities.
Participants gain experience in areas such as:
• Construction trades
• Infrastructure repair
• Logistics and transportation
• Agricultural operations
This model creates opportunities for individuals to build meaningful careers while contributing to community development.
Agricultural Sustainability
America’s farmers and ranchers play a critical role in feeding our nation and sustaining rural economies.
STARS works with agricultural partners to support:
• Farm and ranch preservation
• Local food production
• Community food access initiatives
This approach helps strengthen regional food systems while protecting agricultural land for future generations.
Disaster Readiness
Natural disasters continue to impact communities across the country.
Through our Readiness, Renovation & Rescue Group (3RG) initiative, STARS develops trained teams capable of supporting:
• Housing reconstruction
• Infrastructure repair
• Disaster recovery operations
• Community rebuilding efforts
This initiative allows us to support communities during some of their most challenging moments.
